Clean eating

It is difficult to follow the ‘clean diet’. I mean all the yummy things are processed even vegan versions of cheese or ice cream! I know that the pack of crisps I am craving right now will make me feel shit after finishing the whole large bag. Yes, I am not even inviting the thought of small bag. But let’s approach it from different angle

  • 💡My body is craving crisps = lack of specific nutrition (but which one?! = lack of knowledge in nutrition)
  • 💡I am already aware of the fact that I will feel crap and how much calories I will consume (That I am well aware of but I try to push that thought away)
  • 💡Huge link to our emotional state (feeling shit= wanting crap food)

I then quickly run to the ‘healthy’ section grab banana and keep sipping on my water(lemon water if possible)

But then I keep thinking about that pack of crisps so I try to stay busy as much as possible and scrolling through Instagram is not an option (too many food posts)

If you are still in the shop distract yourself with some beauty products or magazine

So how to fight it ? I always look at the crisps and remember the last time I had them and how crap I felt afterwards which sometimes leads to tears! Crisps= feeling crap= tears

Or if you are strong enough research the craving and get something to help you fight it!

But if I do end up eating that large pack of crisps I will feel shit. Yes, I do admit to it but also I then try to find alternatives for example flavored nuts or dried fruits/ beans. This way I know how to combat it next time. Also the longer you stick with clean diet the easier it becomes over time and that pack of crisps will no longer tempt you. Stay strong 💪
